Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast sliced into thin strips
Vegetables
  • 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for flavor
Aromatics
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
Oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Slice the mushrooms, bell pepper, and prepare the broccoli florets.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken strips and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
Add Vegetables and Aromatics
  1. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, mushrooms, bell pepper, and broccoli to the wok.
  2. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Add Sauce
  1. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and the cornstarch mixture.
  2. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  3. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
Serve
  1. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
