Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 4 medium ripe peaches halved and pitted
Sweeteners
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar packed
Fats
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional
Garnish
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Peaches
  1. Halve the peaches and remove the pits.
  2. If desired, sprinkle the cut sides with cinnamon.
Heat the Skillet
  1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Cook the Peaches
  1. Place the peaches cut-side down in the skillet.
  2. Sprinkle brown sugar over the peaches.
  3. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until caramelized.
  4. Flip the peaches and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
