Ingredients
  

Meatball Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs preferably whole wheat
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tsp oregano dried
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

Prepare the Meatballs
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, egg, minced garlic, parsley, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the Meatballs
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, and salt until smooth.
Serve
  1. Serve the meatballs warm with the yogurt sauce on the side.
