Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage green or purple cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots fresh or pre-packaged
  • 3 green onions sliced for garnish
Protein
  • 1 lb ground pork can substitute with chicken or turkey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil for flavor
Seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar for tanginess
  • 1 tbsp sriracha optional, for heat

Method
 

Cook the Meat
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground pork and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add the shredded cabbage, carrots, garlic, and ginger to the skillet.
  2. Stir well and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Season the Mixture
  1. Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and sriracha.
  2. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to combine flavors.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
