Ingredients
  

For the Bruschetta
  • 4 slices Baguette or Italian bread
  • 2 cups Cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh basil chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil for the topping
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
For the Garlic Oil
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil for drizzling
  • 2 cloves Garlic sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Garlic Oil
  1. In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over low heat and add the sliced garlic. Cook until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Prepare the Tomato Topping
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
Toast the Bread
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
Assemble the Bruschetta
  1. Remove the toasted bread from the oven and drizzle with the garlic oil. Top each slice with the tomato mixture.
Serve
  1. Serve immediately while the bread is warm and enjoy!

Notes
