Ingredients

Baked Burrata
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bowl burrata cheese about 8 oz
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped for garnish
  • 1 loaf crusty bread for serving

Method

Prepare the Tomatoes
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a baking dish, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and minced garlic. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Spread the tomatoes in an even layer and bake for 15 minutes, until they are soft and slightly caramelized.
Bake the Burrata
  1. Remove the baking dish from the oven and make space in the center for the burrata. Place the burrata cheese in the center of the dish.
  2. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the burrata is warm and slightly melted.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil. Serve immediately with crusty bread for dipping.
