  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 45 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add cubed chicken, season with salt, pepper, and half of the Italian seasoning. Cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (about one minute). Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth; bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add remaining Italian seasoning and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Return chicken to skillet with drained pasta; toss everything together until well coated. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water to achieve desired consistency.
