  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3/4 cup full-fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Fontina cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • White pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Whisk in flour until smooth.
  3. Gradually stir in milk and Dijon mustard, cooking until thickened (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Reduce heat and add Gruyère, Fontina, and Parmesan until melted.
  5. Fold cooked gnocchi into the cheese sauce until well-coated.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes until bubbly.
