  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam

  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan; dollop jelly over it and swirl gently with a knife. Add remaining batter on top and repeat with more jelly.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
