  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon orange extract (optional)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg, orange zest, orange juice, vanilla extract, and optional orange extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in white chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
