Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz rotini pasta (or any short pasta)
  • 2.53 cups water or broth
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak pieces seasoned with salt and pepper, searing for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add remaining butter, then stir in garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, cooking for about 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, stirring gently to combine; let simmer for 3–4 minutes to thicken.
  4. Stir in grated parmesan until melted into the sauce.
  5. Add uncooked rotini pasta and water or broth, bringing to a boil before reducing heat and covering. Simmer for 10–12 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  6. Return seared steak along with its juices to the skillet; stir to combine.
  7. Adjust seasoning as needed and garnish with parsley before serving hot.
