  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 fresh strawberries, halved

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tartlet shells by pressing Pâte Sucrée dough into tartlet pans and freeze.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake the frozen shells until golden brown.
  3. Make the strawberry jam by cooking chopped strawberries with sugar until thickened.
  4. Prepare pastry cream by simmering sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and heavy cream; temper egg yolks with cornstarch then combine until thick.
