  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle and cut it into 12 strips.
  3. Tie each strip into a loose knot and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Stir in chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to the melted butter mixture.
  6. Brush half of this mixture over the knots before baking.

  8. Brush the remaining garlic butter over the knots immediately after taking them out of the oven.
