  2. In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined—don’t overmix!
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the top with brown sugar.
  6. Bake for 55–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
