  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce (or salsa)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in chopped onion and cook until tender. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Mix in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and tomato sauce. Simmer for 3–4 minutes to combine flavors.
