  • 5 pounds red potatoes
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 to 5 teaspoons horseradish sauce
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 23 tablespoons parsley (fresh, chopped or 2 teaspoons dried)
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan (grated)

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes until fork-tender, about 20-35 minutes.
  2. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot or a mixing bowl.
  3. Add milk, sour cream, salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, parsley, and Parmesan cheese to the potatoes; mix well.
  4. Mash the potatoes to your desired consistency; add horseradish sauce to taste.
  5. In another pot, melt butter over medium heat until browned; pour into the mashed potatoes or serve on the side.
