  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces toffee chips
  • 1/2 cup pecan pieces (chopped small)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add melted butter, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just mixed. Fold in toffee chips and pecans. Chill the dough for at least 2 hours.
  5. Scoop dough onto baking sheets about two inches apart.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden around the edges. Cool on the baking sheet for 1-2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
