  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and half of the basil.
  4. Cut pockets into each chicken breast for stuffing.
  5. Fill each pocket with the ricotta mixture; secure edges if needed.
  6. Place stuffed chicken in the baking dish and pour marinara sauce over top.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving; garnish with remaining basil.
