  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt.
  2. Coat the chicken pieces in the marinade and refrigerate for at least one hour (preferably overnight).
  3. Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat. Sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
